The children are having a wonderful week showing their creative side.

Wow! Ruby Class have had the best afternoon at Forest School. We have been bug mad!! We’ve been on bug hunts, created a tally chart for each of the bugs we’ve found and we have created a some big bug artwork!! 🥰

This week Ruby Class kickstarted their new topic, mini-beasts by doing some amazing butterfly collage artwork! I was blown away by their creativity and how amazing everybody’s butterflies have turned out – they truly are a class of artists! 🧑🏻🎨
We learnt the new skill of using tracing paper to transfer the outline of our butterfly onto our paper, and then used different techniques of applying tissue paper to create wings that are as delicate and beautiful as those of a real butterfly! 🦋
Well done Ruby Class, and keep up the fantastic work! ❤️

A HUGE well done to our wonderful Sports Captains who helped run this years Sports Day. We thought they all deserved a special Headteacher’s Award! 🙌👏

Thank you to everyone at the PTA who organised and ran a fantastic event to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee! It was so much fun! 🥰 It was wonderful to see everyone having lots of fun with huge smiles on their faces!

Today Mr Mottram (Head of Y7) came into school to introduce himself to the Year 6 children and to have a chat about life at high school. The children asked lots of super questions and we can’t wait to start our transition work after half term.

Today, we welcomed the wonderful Jake Evans into school. Jake is a professional storyteller and he worked with every class telling wonderful, exciting stories; making us laugh and teaching us how to perform our own pieces of work. Everyone loved listening to him and have even asked if he can come again tomorrow! 😂

Year 6 had a wonderful afternoon for their Booster treat. Bubble Football was a huge hit and they all loved their 90 minutes of fun!
Q. What would you give it out of 10?
A. 11…..100!!
I think they enjoyed it! 😂🤩🥳

Wow!! What an AMAZING day we have had! We have had the most wonderful experience learning all about farm life from worms all the way where our meat comes from! We got to see a sheep being sheared and got to toast some yummy marshmallows! We even tested to see if we could tell the difference between organic food and non organic!
I could not be any more proud of the children today. They have been a true credit to us all! I’m sure they’re bubbling with information to tell you at home!
