🕷 🍃 Nature Hunt! 🌱 🐛

Ruby class loved looking for nature this afternoon! We think nature is very beautiful and calming. We loved finding caterpillars 🐛 in the wildlife area. We even found a baby one crawling up Miss Poppleton’s arm!!! As much as we wanted to keep him, we found the perfect spot for him on a juicy leaf instead!

We finished the afternoon making beautiful daisy chains! 🌸

We showed amazing team work skills! 😊

Today we started our day with a smile.

We played a game of pass the smile and discussed how smiling makes both us and others feel happy. We then went outside and enjoyed being in nature. We could hear the birds singing and the trees blowing!

Next, we made smiles in nature. We hope our smiley faces put a smile on someone else’s face! We had lots of fun an we think our smiley faces are amazing!

How can we connect with nature?

This afternoon, during our PSHE session Topaz class spent time thinking of ways we could connect with nature at home, school and outside. The children came up with some fantastic ideas and shared them in their groups with the rest of the class. We then looked at a range of situations and thought about how the people living in different ways could connect with nature.
