🔍Dictionary Detectives! 🔍

Today Ruby Class had great fun learning how to be Dictionary Detectives!! We completed lots of dictionary challenges!! ⭐️😊 We were wonderful!!! 🕵️

🐉 Dragon Art 🐉

Topaz class are making a fantastic job of their dragon pictures. The focus technique is blending and they are trying very hard to seamlessly swop from one colour to another. Not very easy but they are creating fantastic art work in the process!!

👑Our New Head Boy&Girl👑

Yesterday, the big wait was over….. our wonderful Head Boy Callum and Head Girl Myla handed over the reins to our new ‘chosen ones!’

A MASSIVE congratulations goes to Harry and Caprice who were voted by the whole staff as next years Head Boy and Girl 👏

We know they will help lead Sound brilliantly and they will be incredible ambassadors for the school. We can’t wait to get started! ⭐️

A HUGE congratulations to Churches Mansion (yellow team) for being the overall winners this year! We are so proud of each and every one of you!!!

⭐️Superstars Everywhere!⭐️

This afternoon we held our annual Awards Ceremony. It was lovely to reflect on all the things we have done this year both at home and in school and remind ourselves of everything we have achieved as individuals and as part of the amazing Sound family! ❤️

Mrs Coleman and I were really excited to award all of our children a Superstar Award for the attribute that they have demonstrated the most this year. It was a really tough decision, as everyone shows so many of our 5 superstars everyday, however here are our wonderful children and their certificates:-

Well done everyone! We are so proud of everything you have achieved this year! You are definitely all superstars in our eyes!⭐️

Happy Art week everyone!

Art comes in many shapes and sizes; many styles and forms. Some people paint landscapes in watercolours while others photograph mouldy pieces of fruit! Art is magical! 🪄

All these pieces of Art have been inspired by people who love dogs (just like we love our school doggy Padme!) ❤️ But, my question is, which artistic techniques and skills have these artists used to create these masterpieces? Give your answers to your Team Captain and we will award the 🏆 to the team who are the closest!

Miss Poppleton and Miss Williams-Day had the most wonderful day meeting lots of our lovely new starters at a socially distanced door stop drop today! 😊✨

It was so lovely to see everyone’s smiley faces and to hear that all the children are so excited to start at our amazing School! 😊 We really can’t wait for you to join our Sound Family soon!

Each of our new starters was given a special Diamond Bear and his diary. 🐻 Diamond Bear loves adventures and can’t wait to spend the summer with our new starters! We can’t wait to read the diaries in September and to see all the fun Diamond Bear and the children get up to! ☺️
