Wow!!!!!
We couldn’t believe it when we measured our bean plants this morning. We had the biggest smiles on our faces! 😀
As you can see, they have grown so much in just one week! We used rulers to measure the height of our plants and wrote all about our observations. We looked at the difference in height of our plants from last week. We had great fun!
We really do have green fingers in Ruby Class! 💚😊
Today we had great fun learning about the Queen’s many residences! We loved the beautiful gardens of Windsor Castle and the huge dining room in Buckingham Palace. We learned that Balmoral Castle is near where Miss Poppleton was born too! 😊
Our task today was to locate where the Queen’s residences are in the UK and place them on a map. We worked in teams and did such a great job! 😊⭐️

Ruby class loved looking for nature this afternoon! We think nature is very beautiful and calming. We loved finding caterpillars 🐛 in the wildlife area. We even found a baby one crawling up Miss Poppleton’s arm!!! As much as we wanted to keep him, we found the perfect spot for him on a juicy leaf instead!
We finished the afternoon making beautiful daisy chains! 🌸
We showed amazing team work skills! 😊
Today Ruby class had lots of fun in the sun!! The sun shining instantly put a smile on our faces!! 😊 We gazed at the clouds and had fun spotting different, shapes, animals and sizes!
A HUGE well done to everyone who took part in our Mental Health Week competition – ‘Get Creative with Nature’! 🌈 The Team Captains, Mrs Booth and Mrs Minshall Thomas had such a tough decision picking the winners in each class.

Today we started our day with a smile.
We played a game of pass the smile and discussed how smiling makes both us and others feel happy. We then went outside and enjoyed being in nature. We could hear the birds singing and the trees blowing!
Next, we made smiles in nature. We hope our smiley faces put a smile on someone else’s face! We had lots of fun an we think our smiley faces are amazing!
I am so proud of how creative Ruby Class are! 😊🌿🪴
As a class we discussed ways we can look after our health and wellbeing. We came up with a list of things we could do when we feel we are down, feeling a little sluggish or under the weather. We then took ourselves outside and played some whole class wellbeing games to get our bodies moving and and to feel good about ourselves. Have a look at us in action below! 🙂 Smile, it’s contagious!

Wow!!!!! We couldn’t believe it when we came into school this morning. Our plants are growing so well. We had lots of fun observing them, investigating their roots and measuring how tall they had grown this morning.
Today Ruby Class dodged the rain ☔️ and took Maths outside! We had great fun finding halves, quarters and thirds outside (before the rain came and washed us away!!) We had lots of fun! 😊
