🏉⭐️Rugby Rocks! ⭐️🏉

Yippee!!! What a wonderful start to the National Sports Week! Ruby Class had the best time at their taster session with Crewe and Nantwich Rugby Club this afternoon! 🏉

We loved learning how to pass the rugby ball correctly and how to score a try! We played lots of super games such as stuck in the mud (rugby style!) and bulldog! We were smiling from start to end! Look at us in action below.👇

Next stop- Cricket! Remember to pop back tomorrow to see how we get on in 🏏 cricket!

If your child has come home enthused following their rugby taster session today then please pop a note in the communication diary and I will direct you to how they can sign up! 😊🏉👌

Forest School Week 3! 🏔💚💙

Ruby Class had the best time at Forest School this week. It really is the highlight of our week, we are so lucky to get to enjoy nature every Friday afternoon!

We really focussed on our teamwork skills this week. We learned that not all games are a race to be first! Some games are based on teamwork! 😊 We demonstrated wonderful teamwork in ‘The Floor is Lava” game in which we had to travel across the lava using only the equipment we had (2 tyres and 2 planks of woods). We had to get the whole team across the lava without anyone falling off!

We also had lots of fun making our own water filtration system! We started with dirty water and had to come up with a natural filter in the woods to make it cleaner. We learned that things like moss really helped to clean the water! Once again we showed incredible teamwork! 😊👫👨🏾‍🤝‍👨🏽

Smiles everywhere!

By the river… 🐟🌱💧

Wow, wow, wow! 😊 I have been absolutely amazed by the incredible writing produced as we celebrated National Writing Day today.

Together Ruby Class put their brains together to come up with an amazing poem called ‘By the river…’ We are SO proud of it and couldn’t wait to share it with you all!

We all worked incredibly hard to demonstrate our beautifully neat handwriting! We also included super alliteration and great description! ✏️ ❤️ Y2? More like Y6 I think!!

I am bursting with pride!! A huge well done Ruby Class!
