What an amazing day we had for Sports Day! The races were hotly contested and the sun was shining beautifully! Well done Opal class and all involved, we are so proud of you!
Also, Thank you to all the parents, relatives and carers who came too! It was lovely to see you all cheering for the children.
Today some of our fabulous Year 6 pupils were invited to work with the local authority as part of a focus group designing and planning a new primary school on the Kingsbourne estate. They created such innovative and eco friendly ideas. We can’t wait to see what the architects create! 🤩
As part of our learning about the history of the school Opal Class have created their own versions of the Roll of Honour.
First we looked at our school Roll of Honour and discussed why it is important and the information it gives us.
Next, we looked at a range of war memorials and compared the different styles to find our favourites.
Finally, we worked in pairs to create our own miniature war memorials. The results are below.
We are all on the bus and heading to school from Robinwood!!!!
The year 3s had a very exciting finish to Robinwood. We tackled the piranha pool, climbing walls, crate challenge and nightline.
Robinwood also has an open day next monday (2nd May) where children can come and have a go at some of their favourite activities again.
The years 3s have been flying through the sky and tunneling under ground this afternoon! What a bunch of superstars!
The year 3 children have had an amazing day at robin wood on day 1. We have built rafts, been kayaking and found our way out of a dungeon. What a day!
