This week during out Art lesson we learnt how to make prints using foam printing tiles. We had so much fun transferring our sunflower design onto the tile and then using rollers to evening spread the paint over the top. We were so pleased with how they turned out!

Emerald Class loved using a range of media to create their own pointillism artwork!
Pointillism is a painting style, in which artists use small dots of colour that blend together into a picture when viewed from a distance. Georges Seurat is often credited with originating the style.

We had a wonderful second session at Forest School. Emerald Class spent lots of time exploring the new activities Mrs Ashley had set up for us, we went on a wild plant hunt and learnt all about map reading! The countdown to next Friday has already begun!
Our first week in Forest School!
Emerald Class loved learning how to skip during National Skipping Week. We didn’t find it easy to begin with, but we all showed excellent resilience and got there in the end!
