❤️💛 Diamond Class Blog Challenge 2! 💙💚

Well done to all the children who answered our special blog question last week! We are so proud of all the children who took part! 💎⭐️✨

As you are aware Remembrance Day is held on the 11th November each year. It is a time when we remember all those who have died since the First World War.

Our special blog challenge this week is linked to Remembrance Day. We would love you to make your very own poppy and bring it into school to share with your friends! 😀❤️ You can make your poppy in any way you wish and be as creative as you like! We already can’t wait to see them. 😀

Remember the winning team will win a trophy! 🏆 😀

✨ 👑 Beautiful Belle! 👑 ✨

What a magical morning! ✨✨✨✨✨

This morning Diamond Class got to meet the very beautiful Princess Belle!! 😀😀😀 Wow we are so lucky! 👑

She came to visit us to read us a story, sing with us and let us ask her lots of exciting questions! We enjoyed telling her all about our special hobbies, pets, friends and family and we loved hearing all about her magical castle and Beast! 😀

We loved her beautiful singing voice and how kind she was! 😀 She put the biggest smile on all of our faces this morning and we just didn’t want her to leave!

If you would like to book Belle for any birthday parties please just get in touch with us at school or see Anastasia’s details in the photo below. ☺️⭐️👑💛

💥⭐️✨Fabulous Fireworks! ✨⭐️💥

Diamond Class have loved learning about bonfire night!

We discussed ways we can make sure we keep safe whilst at a bonfire or fireworks display. 💥

Amelie- “ You need to wear 🧤 gloves for sparklers so you don’t burn.”

William- “You need to look after your pets because they might get scared of the bangs”

Theo- “ Make sure you stand back from fireworks and don’t go near them!”

Eleanor- “ Always stay with an adult and don’t trick them and run off!”

Ozzie- “ Don’t go near the bonfire because you’ll get burnt”

In celebration of bonfire night we had some bonfire fun this morning! We created our own fireworks using pom-poms, glitter and other crafty bits and we had great fun creating beautiful firework art work using paints and marbles! We used the marbles to spread the colours to make it look like beautiful fireworks in the night sky! 💥⭐️✨💎

💎 💰 Money Awareness Week! 💰 💎

This week our whole school has taken part in Money Awareness Week! This week has been a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn more about where money comes from and how to look after it.

Diamond Class have enjoyed learning about where money comes from and how we can earn money. We’ve enjoyed looking at ways we can save and look after our money and how to use and sort coins. We even made our own cute little piggy banks to save up our pennies! 🐽

We’ve all worked incredibly hard and definitely understand money a little bit more now! ☺️

Olivia “I’m saving up for an exercise course, a hoover and a food maker and I save in my piggy bank!”

Amelie “ I’m saving up for a colour changing doll!”

Taylor- “I’m saving up to take my family on holiday!”

William- “ We need jobs to earn money!”

Well done Diamonds! 💎

💎 We LOVE Gymnastics! 🥰

Diamond Class had the most wonderful trip to Crewe to learn how to become amazing gymnasts!! 🙃

We learned how to move our bodies in lots of different ways! 😊 We moved like frogs, rabbits, crabs, crocodiles, caterpillars and even bears!! 🐻 We learned how to hold our bodies and how to point our toes beautifully too!

Many of us had never been on a bus before so this was a wonderful adventure! 🚌 We asked lots of questions about everything we spotted on the bus showing super curiosity. We learned about the importance of wearing our seatbelt too! ☺️

Diamond Class were AMAZING! Everyone showed amazing resilience and independence whilst taking part in all the activities and we all managed to put our own socks, shoes and jumpers back on ourselves before home time !! ⭐️✨💎 WOW WOW WOW!

We had the most wonderful time and already can’t wait to go back next week! 😊

✨ Dazzling Diwali! 🕯 💡💎

Today Diamond Class learned all about Diwali- the Festival of Lights! ✨ We had a wonderful time and enjoyed learning about why Diwali is celebrated and how it is celebrated around the world. We learned that it is a time of joy and often includes lots of beautiful fireworks!

We started creating our own diyas (lanterns) out of clay! They are going to be so beautiful when they are finished. Make sure to check back later on in the week for the finished product! ☺️

We also had great fun creating our own Rangoli Patterns this afternoon too! 🕯😀💎✨

💎Colour! 🎨 ⭐️

This week Diamond Class are learning all about colour! 😀

We are using the story ‘Elmer’ to learn all about colours! ☺️ We love this story!

We’ve had lots of fun sorting colours and mixing them together to make brand new colours! We learned that if we add white to a colour it makes it lighter and if we add black to a colour it makes it darker! 😀

Diamond Class are amazing! 💎😀
