This half term, Topaz class have focussed on the author Dick King Smith. Starting with a mini study about the author, the children were set a challenge to read a variety of his books over the half term and recommend their favourites to their friends.
The class have thoroughly enjoyed reading Dick King Smiths Books and 2 super star readers , Archie and Harry, have each read 5 of his books. Both found the books easy to read with fun story lines and would definitely recommend to their friends.
All the readers received a little prize and now everyone is asking .. who will our author focus be next term ?
