The School Council had excellent ideas about how to celebrate WORLD BOOK DAY this year.
Firstly, they decided to run a competition to design a Book Mark. All the children in the school, designed their own book marks, and the School Council judged them the following week. Here are the winning designs:
Secondly, the children decided to set a Decorate a Stone competition, depicting a favourite character, author or book title. Thank you to everyone who entered. All the stones are now displayed by the entrance to the school, creating a beautiful display for visitors to look at as they arrive.
