Bug hunt
Diamond class have shown an interest in bugs they have found in the playground this week. So, we decided to goon a whole class bug hunt today! We found lots of wriggly worms and looked at them carefully before putting them back where they were found. We spoke about the importance of handling creatures with care.

Reception have been enjoying the glorious autumnal afternoons using our scooters and bikes on the playground.






Room on the Broom
Gruffalo role play
Diamond class read The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson then acted out the story. “He has knobbly knees, and turned out toes, and a poisonous wart at the end of his nose!”
Pumpkin Patch
Diamond class have had great fun buying and selling pumpkins in our very own pumpkin patch. We were using our maths skills to think about which pumpkins were heavier after weighing them on the scales.
Scarecrow fun!
Diamond class made our own scarecrows this week after reading The Scarecrows’ Wedding by Julia Donaldson.
Our Classroom

Diamond Class Visitor!
Diamond class had this little visitor come to say hello to us all last week! We really enjoyed seeing him so close.
