Tie dye results

Yesterday Opal class waited with baited breath as it was time to reveal our tye die t-shirts.

The results were amazing and the class were so proud of their hard work and i was too.

There are now some examples of the classes designs on display along with Mr Delaney’s attempt at a swirl pattern

Rainforest collages in Opal Class

This week is art week and we have been inspired by the different layers of the rainforest to create some layered pieces of art. First we took lots of different materials and and ripped them into smaller pieces.

Then, we used stencils to draw a range of animals that would be found in the rainforest and used dot work to add detail to the animals.

finally, we collaged all of our different colours and materials to create a rainforest with lots of layers just like the real thing.
