Phonics Heroes! 🦸🏼‍♀️🦸🏻🦸🏼‍♂️

Ruby Class blew me away with their wonderful Phonics knowledge during their Phonics Screening Assessment. To celebrate our success, we enjoyed dressing in our own clothes and playing lots of board games. It was amazing to see everyone playing so beautiful and getting along so well together.

Ruby Class you are an excellent team and I’m so proud and lucky to call myself your teacher! 🌟

🔴🟢 Ruby Class Blog Challenge No. 5 🔵🟡

Ruby Class are so lucky to be able to link up with Hayley from Farmer Time, an initiative which hopes to inspire, engage and educate young people about the journey from farm to fork and the ever-changing diversity of farming.

On Tuesday, spent lots of time asking Hayley lots of questions about life on her farm. She talked to us about the animals she keeps, how she got into farming and her family. She told us all about her newest addition to the farm… her kitten!

Hayley would like us to come up with the perfect name for her kitten so this weeks blog challenge is just that!

Choose a name you think would suit the kitten best and bring your answers to Miss Wade by Friday 3rd December.

Hayley will choose the perfect name when we next catch up with her!

🔴🟢 Ruby Class Blog Challenge No. 4 🔵🟡

This week Sound School are celebrating Road Safety Week! 🙂

The theme of Road Safety Week 2021 is ROAD SAFETY HEROES, celebrating the heroic work of road safety professionals, and explaining how we can all play a part in making journeys safer for everyone.

What is a Road Safety Hero?

A Road Safety Hero can be anyone who helps us make safe and healthy journeys and supports people after a road crash. You can be road safety heroes too by using roads safely.

Blog Challenge: Design a poster to celebrate one Road Safety Hero.

Challenge: Can you write a sentence to explain why you have chosen that person to be your hero?

There are also lots of resources, videos and interactive ideas on the brake.org.uk website! 🙂

Enjoy and thank you,
